Haas Awarded David Laine Intern Scholarship at Aallied Die Casting Company of Illinois for Mechanical Engineering


intern headshotRyan (Joseph) Haas of Palatine, IL has been awarded with a scholarship in 2018 from the
David Laine Intern Scholarship Program at NADCA (North American Die Casting Association.)  David Laine Scholarships are awarded to intern college students in the die casting industry on a competitive basis.

Haas completed his 2017 internship at Aallied Die Casting of IL, a division of RCM Industries.  He is in his third year at the University of Alabama with a Major in Mechanical Engineering. During his internship, Haas gave contributions related to: thermal testing of metals in the die casting process; implementing new pouring processes; thermal sensoring central monitors; and performed cost analysis scenarios.  He worked in CAD software programs for other areas of the die casting process.
