RCM Industries, Inc. & its divisions give and receive support as the Southeast rebuilds following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene
Community involvement is a key priority of RCM Industries, Inc., especially in times of need. Following the detrimental impacts of Hurricane Helene, RCM, its operating divisions, and external support systems gathered to support RCM’s Southern divisions and the affected areas of the Southeast as a whole.
- RCM’s corporate executives quickly enacted an internal water-donation drive and began shipments to trusted supply centers located in North Carolina.
- Jeff Jackson (Maintenance Manager of RCM North Carolina division – and – Volunteer Fire Chief of Shingle Hollow Fire Department in Rutherford County, NC) was involved in supporting affected individuals and surrounding communities. During the hurricane, Jeff noted the immense flooding, power/phone outages, and lack of water/food/gas. Following the immediate impacts of the hurricane, Jeff and his fire-crew conducted welfare checks on the local community and organized emergency supplies to be flown into the affected areas. We commend Jeff for his heroic support efforts.
- Hydro Gear, a long-time customer to multiple RCM divisions, also supported the affected RCM southeastern divisions by kindly volunteering their services toward gathering supplies – such as, water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other items.
Although Hurricane Helene destroyed land and physical aspects of communities, one of the greatest things that came out of this catastrophic event was the outpour of love and support from local communities, RCM and all of its operating divisions, and supporting companies like Hydro Gear. As the impacted areas begin to rebuild, they must continue to receive support in all ways.
