2023 NADCA Aluminum Die Casting Award Winner – RCM Industries, Inc.
Imperial Die Casting Company (Liberty, SC) – a division of RCM Industries, Inc. – has been presented with the International Die Casting Competition Award from the North American Die Casting Association for ‘Excellence in Aluminum Die Casting’s 1-10lbs’.
The award-recipient casting manufactured at Imperial Die Casting Company is a Purge Reservoir, used on a commercial vehicle air brake system for compressed air, with integral mounting structure for the air dryer assembly. This part was developed as a conversion from deep draw steel stamping and welding, using 413 aluminum alloy. The final product weighs approximately 4.4lbs.
