RCM Industries, Inc. has appointed Dan Twarog as Executive Vice President with responsibility for assisting in the corporate management of RCM’s four operating divisions. In addition to his management responsibilities, Dan will also be charged with technology and best-practice implementation specific to high-pressure aluminum die casting operations. We believe Dan’s experience and expertise will be of great benefit to all of RCM’s customers.
Dan comes to RCM with over 40 years of metal casting expertise, most recently as
President of the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), a post he held since 1999. Dan started at NADCA in 1995 as Executive Vice President. In his leadership roles, he provided many different products and services to the die casting industry in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its member’s operations. Dan’s services extended beyond the die cast floor and encompassed improved process controls, new technologies, governmental affairs, education and safety. Prior to NADCA, Dan held the roles of Director of Research for the American Foundry Society, Associate Director of Education for the Cast Metals Institute, Quality and Process Control Manager for an investment casting foundry and Materials Research and Development with Amsted Research Laboratories. Dan is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with degrees in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering.
