Custom Manufacturing Expertise

RCM Industries, Inc.’s multiple plant locations and global partnerships create knowledge sharing, economies of scale, and flexible production scheduling synergies for your custom aluminum die casting requirements.  Although we manage the entire die casting process for you, our philosophy is to be in personal contact with you from conceptual design through production of your final part.

When partnered with RCM, your casting specifications are always a priority focus.  Our energy-efficient furnaces, metal handling procedures, flexible tooling capabilities and optimal casting conditions assure that we always meet and/or exceed your expectations.

Three-Plate Die Casting provides more durability.

For certain applications, RCM’s three-plate technique can produce higher density castings that improve the strength and balance of your final part, thus increasing its durability and application.  Traditional two-plate die casting procedures introduce molten metal into one side of a part cavity, altering heat dispersion that can result in finished parts with an unbalanced structure.  RCM uses a third plate to fully enclose the die and introduce molten metal to the center of each cavity.  As a result, metal travels a shorter distance through the mold, stabilizing the temperature from the center to create a balanced and higher density casting

Metal handling procedures produce high-quality, inclusion-free castings.

Our network of energy-efficient furnaces and meticulous metal handling procedures ensures the highest quality of molten aluminum.  This enhances our ability to produce tight tolerance castings for a variety of machining applications.

Large material inventory speeds production schedules.

All RCM facilities have longstanding supplier relationships for procuring and inventorying alloys.  RCM’s wide range of aluminum and zinc alloys support more custom applications across more vertical industries.  Please see our “Locations” link above for a detailed list of alloys utilized by each RCM division

Extended tooling life maximizes your production investment.

Our engineering staff tracks the quantity of individual parts that every die casting tool produces.  RCM’s tooling maintenance practices extend casting cycles and adhere to the quality standards set forth by industry governing associations, such as the North American Die Casting Association and the Tooling & Manufacturing Association.

As always, RCM puts focus on customization and quality while maintaining your budget.
Statistical Process Control Monitoring & Analysis ensures consistency.

SPC technology ensures that your custom specifications are met for each part cast.  Process parameter data continuously monitors the control of the die casting process to determine when adjustments are needed.  This consistent analysis maintains your custom specifications across multiple production runs.
